AHCDC 6 L.P. | Los Angeles, CA

The project consisted of the new construction of two multi-story buildings with 39 affordable housing units for senior citizens.  Knob Hill Apartments was designed to provide housing to support the homeless and those who have a disability or a chronic illness. The project has provided much needed affordable housing and supportive services including health or mental health care to the community.

Day Street Apartment

Project Description

Los Angeles Family Housing | Tujunga, CA

The project consisted of the new construction of a 46 unit, 2-story affordable multi-family housing project. Spaces included community room, conference room, office, computer lab, Manager’s unit, four one bedroom units, and 41 studio units.

Day Street Apartments provides permanent supportive housing and substance abuse counseling to chronically homeless individuals and couples. The development includes many “green” features and was certified as a LEED Silver rated project.

Whittier Permanent Support Housing

Project Description

East LA Community Corporation | Los Angeles, CA

The project consisted of the new construction of a 25 unit, 3-story multi-family housing complex of affordable apartments. The project included underground parking, a community room, an outdoor play area for children, and on-site supportive services for residents. The Place Apartments houses sixteen (16) families who had been homeless for more than 18 months as well as nine (9) low income families. The project exceeded state energy efficiency requirements by 30%.

The project consisted of the new construction of a 37 unit, 3-story elderly housing apartment building. The architectural design included features on exterior façade for energy efficiency.

Sol Y Luna Apartments

Project Description

East Los Angeles Community Corp. | Los Angeles, CA

The project consisted of the new construction of a 53 unit, 5-story affordable residential apartment building; 1-3 bedroom units, community and retail space. Sol y Luna Apartments features a cement plaster exterior surface with stunning mosaic tile veneer. The development addresses the communities need for housing and provides residents access to retail opportunities and jobs.
